Yoga is an ancient and powerful discipline for cultivating physical, mental and spiritual health.

Dynamic Yoga is an invigorating yoga class involving a flowing sequence of postures.

Jody’s teaching is based on both Ashtanga Yoga and Power Vinyasa Yoga. Emphasis is placed on the correct use of the breath, and on synchronizing the breath with movements, resulting in a meditative practice.

Dynamic Yoga works to create a flexible strong body, improves core stability, improves circulation, and helps to calm and focus the mind.

Jody has been practicing Yoga since 1996 and began teaching dynamic yoga intensively in 2004 in a variety of settings, and to many different abilities and levels, including corporate settings and drama students at Flinders University.

She also has extensive teaching experience as a pharmacist working with the Drug & Therapeutics Information Service.

Jody is able to teach private one on one Dynamic Yoga sessions, in addition to offering a variety of group classes.

Jody’s training includes studying yoga in India in 2006 under the direction of Sri K Pattabhi Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute in Mysore. Jody has completed her Level 1 Yoga teaching certificate and became registered with Yoga Alliance in 2007.

Jody is dedictated to her Yoga practice, to continuous learning and to refining her teaching skills.
