Dynamic Yoga

Dynamic yoga is an invigorating yoga class involving a flowing sequence of postures.

Jody’s teaching is based on both Ashtanga Yoga and Pwer Vinyasa Yoga. Emphasis is placed on the correct use of the breath and on synchronizing the breath with movements, resulting in a meditative practice, designed to improve circulation, create a flexible strong body and a calm mind.

Hatha / Iyengar Yoga

In Iyengar yoga the poses (especially the standing postures) are held longer than in most other forms of yoga practice so that practitioners may pay attention to precise muscular and skeletal alignment.

The use of props such as straps, blocks, blankets also help to accommodate structural imbalances or special needs of the clients.
